Our Mission

We bring women’s rights to the forefront of public awareness, influencing community leaders, elected officials and legislation.

Female Forward is cultivating a new generation of leaders dedicated to women’s political education, advancement, and empowerment. By viewing our society through a woman's perspective, the door is open to a more strategic conversation about gender disparity — what’s working, what’s not working and what must change.  

In partnership with the Mayor’s office of the City of Los Angeles, Female Forward presents a series of Civic Education events at City Hall featuring elected officials, non-profit pioneers and community leaders who guide participants through a day-long training program. Alongside a framework of education and policy advocacy, Female Forward provides ongoing support to members through strategic assets and resources. Participants are empowered to become citizen luminaries in their communities, influence legislation, or successfully run for political office.
